# The difference between American and Canadian films

I found this [Roger Ebert review](http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/19991224/REVIEWS/912240304/1023), and was amused by the passage at the bottom. During an interview show Ebert was unable define the difference, but another guest was. He quoted a former head of the Toronto Film Festival about the movie _Last Night_ (the subject is an approaching apocalypse):
