The difference between the USA and UK versions of Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares

I have not seen the UK version, I’ll admit.

But the US version has had faux Indian (the one with all the rot and bugs and flies…and <gagging gently).

Some ‘grilles’ ‘bistros’ etc. I’ve not seen every ep.

For all his yelling, I have also seen on the US version, Ramsay taking someone to the side and having a quiet talk with them.

He does yelling well, but he also does constructive criticism.

This is common practice in upscale U.S. restaurants - kitchen staff always refers to the chefs as “Chef [lastname].”

Heh. I don’t think we got around to discussing recipes. We were more arguing my opinion that you don’t eat animals that you’ve named, let alone animals that sleep in your bed, vs. his that tasty trumps cute every time.

Ferret Herder, I loved that episode. Aggie was so cute, and that Kim is a scarlet woman! (My daughter also loves HCIYH, but half the time I have to leave the room due to the gagging and the anxiety it gives me, and go clean my fridge or something until I feel better.)

GREEN BURGERS KILL PEOPLE!!!

I also enjoyed the “Sebastian’s” episode, with the truly delusional actor.
