I had to check that [the article](https://www.economist.com/britain/2023/04/04/britains-cyberwarfare-chief-reveals-his-identity) (Economist, firewalled) wasn’t from April 1st.

The name is Babbage. James Babbage.

I rather hoped his picture would include either some futuristic glasses / computer display worn on his head or that his face would be pixellated … for security. Nope. Just another geek.
