There was always someone who remembered, or someone smart enough to look up delivery addresses and find ā€œthe bridgeā€ as our factoryā€™s address, though, so we always got our pizzas šŸ™‚ ---

Iā€™m suggesting that you would get to choose either the date and time (date and time are really part of the same thing - the time when the event ocurred) or the new decision. So, if you made a decision on Jan 1, 2000 at noon, to purchase a certain item, you would specify that date-time combo but you could not specify what item you want to purchase now. The person who offers you the ā€œdo overā€ is the one who gets to choose what it is that you buy this time around. Iā€™m sorry. But I donā€™t think I answered your question very well. ---

I shall state here and now that Higgs must DIE!!! She decided that she needed to go out some time before 3 this morning. Did I mention that I had to get up at 5 to go pick up \*\*FCD \*\*in DC?? I let her out and she disappeared into the wooded part of the yard, refusing to come when called, tho she did mosey back about 5 minutes or so after I let her out. I re-crated her and went back to bed, but of course, within 20 minutes, she was whining and scratching at the door again, and apparently I didnā€™t secure it well, because she escaped and leapt upon me. I kept hoping sheā€™d settle down. Yeah, right. And, naturally, Taz would come and go, getting her riled up when sheā€™d settled a bit. And for the cherry on this crap sundae, he peed in my closet. I gave up and got up at 5 as planned, and right after I got out of the shower, \*\*FCD \*\*called - they had some kind of problem with the train and they were running late. In fact, I just talked to him and theyā€™re sitting in Richmond, trying to fix whatever is wrong. According to the website, theyā€™ll just be 25 minutes late into DC - Iā€™m guessing thatā€™s a load of hooey, since they were 90 minutes late into Richmond and now theyā€™re just sitting. This day is starting as a major league suck-a-rama. :mad: Iā€™m pretty sure heā€™ll never take the train again. Happy Stoopit Saturday. šŸ˜› ---

Mom, is FCD on the [Auto Train or the Carolinian/Piedmont](http://www.amtrak.com/south-train-routes)? I took the C/P to DC once and it stopped at every podunk town that still had a station. It snowed last night and I have to leave for irk in a few minutes. :mad: Three more days and then vacation. ---

It is indeed Stoopit Saturday. I woke up this morning to two letters from the council. One said Iā€™ve overpaid the council tax at my old place (which I knew, they took a payment out of my account after I moved out), but they wonā€™t refund it without a signature from my ex-housemate who Iā€™m not in touch with, and have no contact details for. It was taken from my account, Iā€™m the one who overpaid all of it, and I really donā€™t want to try track her down. I doubt sheā€™d actually sign it anyway, the creep sheā€™s with would just demand some of it. The other was a threatening letter saying theyā€™re sending the baliffs round :eek: for non-payment of council tax šŸ˜• I have no idea what the hell theyā€™re playinā€™ at, 'cos Iā€™m pretty sure they canā€™t actually send baliffs round to collect money thatā€™s not owed after not sending any bills, and how can I have both overpaid and underpaid the same account? Especially as I was paying by direct debit, so they were just helping themselves from my bank account every month. The only thing I can think of is that the silly buggers somehow have kept charging me council tax for the rental flat I moved out of in September, which they clearly know I donā€™t live at, because they sent the bill to my new addressā€¦ Itā€™s definitely not for here, incidently, as Iā€™m a lodger, so itā€™s paid by my landlord, and it clearly states itā€™s for my old address. Oh well, the phone lines are closed now until monday, so Iā€™ll have to wait until then before I phone the bunch of muppets and verbally slap them round the head with a herring. ---

How do you freaking people exist at this hour? I have a ā€˜voluntary but if you want good marks in your permanent recordā€™ meeting at 9am at work which I will be leaving for soon. Perhaps Iā€™ll see **Mom** on the way in. Oh well, at least I should be home at a decent hour after some shopping. Then I can get a nap. * * * I saw some notes about BARF upthread but didnā€™t read into them (didnā€™t have time). It reminds me of a discovery I made years ago when I was having a kidneystone attack one day: I was feeling really nauseous and thus decided to chew down a bunch a fruit flavored antacids to try to feel better. It didnā€™t work, so I ended up vomiting. However the antacids made the vomit taste much better! I was kinda like Blargh!.. Hey that wasā€™t too bad. Hooorguglah!.. Mmm, strawberry. Etc. And it knocks out the acid feeling on your teeth and the nasty feeling in the sinuses (if you are unlucky enough to get some in there). So there you go. Happy Saturday all! ---

I havenā€™t had an interview in at least 10 years. Even if these donā€™t land me a job, theyā€™ll be good practice. ---

The conductor this year is an old friend of mine. We rode the bus home. We were doing music conducting exercises in the bus for some reason. People mustā€™ve thought we were weird. Haha šŸ™‚ Good times! ---

Got my hair cut and now Iā€™m going to yoga. Itā€™s coldā€“18 degreesā€“and overcast and it might snow a bit, just enough for everyone to panic and run to the store and buy milk. Iā€™ll be at the store too because I need food. Tonight I will watch tennis and maybe one of the old b&w movies I have on my DVR. ---

And weā€™re back. The train was about an hour late into Union Station, and I was about half an hour early, no thanks to the stoopit GPS which took me on the scenic route rather than the direct route. We came home direct. The train was late because a hose somewhere underneath kept coming disconnected and theyā€™d have to stop and reconnect it, nursing it along till Richmond, where it was repaired. Hence the late arrival. Things got even later because Dennyā€™s was \*slooooooooooooooow \*in the kitchen. We had very basic orders and it still took over 30 minutes. The restaurant in Waldorf is the most inconsistent when it comes to service - sometimes theyā€™re right on top of things, and then there are days like today. But thatā€™s all behind us. Weā€™re home. \*\*FCD \*\*is in the shower. Higgs is happy to have her daddy back. And weā€™re planning to veg the rest of the day. Weā€™re both exhausted. So thereā€™s that. No matter - my sweetie is home!! šŸ˜ƒ ---
