Well, trip to France with Mom is off. When we added up all the miscellany, the price went from “We can do this” to “Are they out of their _@%#_%(^ \*minds???” So I’m looking for a cruise around the British Isles or Scandinavia or the Baltic. After all, next year, she hits 80 and I hit 60 - that’s cause for celebrations for sure! Other than that, nothing exciting here. Leftovers for supper - we’ll do sketties tomorrow when daughter comes to dine. Just another day in paradise! 😃 ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 64 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 74 for the day. Since I have to be out and about at irk, I’m glad it’s at least warmish and not rainy. **{{{StickyBuns}}}** I hear ya. This stoopid call I have is drivin’ me crazy! Everybody run for your lives! The W2s are here! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a W2 so soon, but that’s tempered by the IRS not accepting any tax returns until the end of January while they sort things out in the aftermath of Congressional dawdling. UGH… 26 cents has kicked me to the next tax bracket. ---

Whew! What a morning!! I had to get our Queen of IT to uninstall then reinstall Solid Works, but now it’s working! YAY!! I’ve also been rasslin’ with stress analysis - I understand what I need to do, but I was struggling with the math. So I’m going to simplify with assumptions. It’s really a silly exercise because the part I’m analyzing weighs less than 3# - there’s no way it’s going to cause its fasteners to fail in a 20g crash!
