Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 57 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 66 for the day and cloudy. Then it inches up into the 70s over the next few days. After that who knows. If we have any “significant Winter weather” it happens in February. **Soapy** we are on pins and needles here re the house. I would never try out for Jeopardy. I just know if I was in the same room as Trebek, I’d do him serious bodily harm! I can NOT stand that man! Plus my mom was on back in '72 (I think??) and I think there’s been enough of my family on that show. 😛 Good morning! Last night I filled 3 baggies with sketty sauce - they’ll go in the freezer today - and there’s still a pot full for supper tonight. Yay! Sadly, that’s all the big news I have to share. Thanks guys! Things got complicated last night. It was supposed to be done. Now we wait a couple days. I’m frustrated and disappointed, but my agent/therapist (:)) says not to worry. Argg. Think good thoughts for me, SVP! My first cousin, whom I was pretty close to, was the first Tournament of Champions winner when they rebooted Jeaporday in 1986. That was very cool! ---

Soapy, been there done that. I have lots of hugs for you in that regards. We bought first house, the one we are living in now on short sale. 6 months, it took to close and we didnt even know until the last possible second that is was going to go through. Stupid bank (house’s not ours). The plumbing issue has been resolved at the Jynx house relatively minorly. It was a broken wax seal and improperly installed commode. But now we are looking at $$$ to retile the floor and entry way. The $$$ is not from the tiling part, its from having to pay someone to re-install the commode because we need and want to put in flooring that is thicker than the current tile and have to do _insert some complicated plumbing speak here about flanges and wax seals_ and my husband doesnt feel comfortable enought to do that himself. So much for that new dishwasher that I was pining for, but at least the updates to the dowstairs can begin with this small project. ---

Kind of verplunckt today. Went to a wake last night for an old friend from high school. Married for 34 years to his high school girlfriend, who grew up around the corner from me. 54 and he just keeled over last week with a heart attack. Pat was the kind of guy that no one anywhere could say anything bad about, nor would he ever have a bad thing to say. A while back, a bunch of us got together who hadn’t seen each other in person for over 25 years. I ended up sitting next to him that night and it was as though we had just left lunch and were at track practice again. Since then we’d been to their house a couple times for BBQ on the patio. Three absolutely amazing kids, his daughter just got married last month. His youngest son, a freshman in college saw me, broke down and hugged me. So did the son’s girlfriend. I asked her later where that came from. She said that just last month at the wedding Pat was talking with the two of them about keeping in touch with people that you enjoy being around and mentioned me. That we were always in classes, lunch and different sports together then just dropped off each other’s planets for years and that when we got together after all those years it was great but made him miss the times we might have enjoyed in that time. So long Pat. ---
