I dunno. What do campaign finance laws say about where a campaign can hire a moonlighting consultant from?

WAG. If she did the speech on company time that she was paid for, it’s considered a donation to the campaign.
How that’s illegal, I don’t know unless it was unreported.

Possibly, she could have taken a leave of absence from the Trump Organization to work for the campaign or volunteer on her own time.

He’s having another rally in my town tomorrow. But he still hasn’t paid the bills from the last one.

He also broke federal law by using money from his foundation to settle lawsuits against his businesses.

They are laws now, but soon they won’t be, and it won’t matter that he broke them.

The actual accusation: “As Christie was busy kissing Donald’s rear end on stage, Donald was quietly collecting $200 per person in attendance from the nearly 1,000 people who showed up before he wadded it up and put it into Christie’s wallet.”

So an unnamed witness saw Donald wad up a thousand $200-bills and put it in Christie’s wallet. Or was it 2,000 $100-bills? Either way, goddamn, Christie carries a huge wallet!

(Disclaimer: No, I’m not supporting Trump. Just pointing out a plot hole in the OP’s linked story.)

1000 bills neatly wrapped is a pile very close to the size of two typical clay bricks piled atop one another. 2000 bills is 4 clay bricks. Christie is a large man. Not that large. Although if he had a helper with an empty laptop bag it’d all go in there easily.
