Okay gang, it’s time to show our support for the SDMB President and everyone’s favourite Ozzie. Dpr’s been having a rough time of it lately, and I think it’s up to us to show him that we all care. I, unfortunately, have to leave for the weekend (the timing is killing me) but I’d like to do this little something for him before I go. I know we can’t get him what he really needs (which is a car, a million dollars, a full night’s sleep and a long visit from his beloved Nym :D), but we can at least tell him he’s loved and appreciated. So, here goes: dpr, you are always here for us. I can’t even count how many times you’ve listened to me rant, moan and bitch. I see you in so many threads and in chat, dispensing good advice, lending support, listening to others. Cheering us when we’re up, commiserating when we’re down. It would be nothing less than a tragedy if you didn’t know how much I, personally, care about you. I know how tough life is right now, but know that I’m always here for you. Always. You’re more than a friend, baby, you’re a hero, and you’re a superhero to me. All the love in the world for you, sweetie, and a big smooch and a hug to boot. ---

I couldn’t say it any better than Nyms did, so ditto what she said. **dpr** is one of my best friends, and I bless the day I found him. He is, quite simply, THE BEST! He is always, always there for me, and I have never had cause to regret taking his excellent advice. And he makes me feel better when I am sad, and slaps me alongside the head when I am being a silly Scotti. What more could a friend ask for? The correct answer is nothing… **dpr,** I love you, my friend. Thank you for being the wonderful person you are. Thank you for restoring my faith when it lags. dpr - everyone else has said it already…but as well as being funny & nice on the board & in chat (& making tons of pom jokes ;)), you have also always asked me if I am alright & being willing to listen to me bitch, & either offer advice or just be there to listen.
