The Bensten thing didn’t really hurt Bush/Dukakis, so it wasn’t an effective debate takedown. Christie seems to have done real damage to Rubio (albeit, at little advantage to himself). (I never really got why the Bensten thing was supposed to be such a great jab anyways, to my ears it just kinda made Bensten look like a jerk). ---

Perhaps at the rate that Gilmore burns his money, he can make it to the 2020 convention. Way overdue for Carly, she had exactly one bright moment, and that was getting insulted by The Donald. The right time for Christie, he may be a thug but he can read the writing on the wall. ---

I never understood the rationale for Carly Fiorina’s campaign. Her main asset was her business career, but that was a huge liability because of all the HP horror stories. Her only prior campaign was a disastrous joke remembered only for the Demon Sheep ad. What possessed her that she thought she might be the next president? ---

It is most certainly neither her sterling business reputation nor her raw sexuality. Perhaps if one can hallucinate about PP videos that never existed she could imagine a world in which she had some popularity. US Senate campaign a bust, presidential bid a bust, I suggest she start out small- maybe township clerk. ---
