“Is that gun loaded?” If asked of a sidearm worn in public: well duh, it wouldn’t be very useful if it wasn’t. If asked in any other case: all guns are considered loaded until you personally have checked that they are not. So its a null question. ---

Just a sample of the gems I get at a college library: How do you get out? Um… the same way you came in, only push instead of pull. Where are the books? (Won’t even dignify this with an answer here.) How do you get to the 3rd floor? Take the elevator up two flights maybe? I’d like to qualify all this by saying that I understand how people could not know these things, and I’m never rude or sarcastic but each day I am astounded by the inability/unwillingness of people to figure things out for themselves. People actually come up to you, hand you their homework, and expect you to do it! ---

I have one that’s not stupid as in “ignorant” but stupid as in “annoying”. How about when you trip and some moron says, “Walk much?” or “Have a nice trip?” Urgh.
