I had college English II professor who had us watching various documentaries on the Jewish Holocaust of WWII. When we weren’t doing that we were reading articles & stories about the Holocaust, or in the library looking for books on the Holocaust. Then he would have us do essays and finally, a research paper on…you guessed it…the Holocaust! He didn’t bother to teach us HOW to properly do an essay or research paper, mind you.
Today was a fun day in history class- our permanent sub was attempting to review with us for the Standards of Learning tests (which are stupid in and of themselves, but that’s a different story). Two of the things we talked about where the Alien and Sedation (as opposed to sedition) Acts and the colonialization of America.
I swear, sometimes that woman just makes me want to go bang my head against the wall. :smack:
