In honor of your username change\*, **Really Not All That Dutchboy208** , this weekend Mrs. Giraffe and I just painted our kitchen using yellow Dutchboy brand paint. It looks quite nice. I can see why one might be tempted to drink it, if one were drunk and/or missing a chromosome.

Warm colors (Yellow, orange, red) induce feelings of happiness, well-being, good appetite, and well, [warmth](http://www.logotree.com/html/color_psychology_logo_graphic_design.htm). It’s why McDonalds are warmly-colored.
…What? Oh. Congrats on the name change! I first met you as **RNATB** , and I was a bit bewildered at why a totally new and unknown name was posting such brilliant, likeable things around the boards. Alas, you can’t be RNA, because that, alas, won’t work for the vanity searches. ☹

And, for your information, the yellow looks quite nice. Note that it’s more of a warm Tuscan yellow, and not so much a lemon yellow.

Ah. I was thinking the kind of yellow that would hide noodles which accidentally got stuck to the wall, and after all, who doesn’t want to be able to find their stuck noodles?

Alas, no. We were considering “stuck noodle yellow” until Mrs. Giraffe pointed out that’s it not really a color.
“That’s not really a color,” she said.
“No, I guess it isn’t,” I replied. “Let’s do the original Tuscan thing, then.”
“Not so fast, you big slab of man,” she countered, bosom heaving. “Let me see _your_ noodle, hot stuff.”

Reminds me of an episode of Cops where a very stoned and/or brain damaged guy insisted he drank every day, which is how he got stoned and/or brain damaged. I don’t think he was Dutch though. And he was a bit too old to be a boy too. Oh, and he wasn’t a Cop, either.
