**Jim** I voted for the white one as well because that seemed to be the one you really, really, really wanted. Also, sorry, but I’m not available at this time. 😛 **sari** today is teh suck for me as well. Not a thing has been accomplished at irk because it’s been a day of puttin’ out fires and other people’s messes. I haven’t mentioned it lately but I’m still puttin’ feelers out. Good afternoon all! At work, setting up to do a live talkback with DC’s Mayor about the pending shutdown. Nice weekend. Did a quick visit to my parents with a friend yesterday, returned across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (MD) around 3pm. [At 6pm the bridge caught fire](http://bowie.wusa9.com/news/news/362091-all-lanes-reopen-after-bay-bridge-fire). Not my fault. Great scanner listening. Anyway, happy Monday. _ **Happy Rosie Day!!** _ About midmorning, I \*finally \*got some work to do. However, after tomorrow, I can’t get on base unless someone gets his/her ass in gear and does whatever has to be done to get me another gate pass. So this may be a really short work week. We shall see. Home now, fish of some sort for supper, and an early night for me. I could not fall asleep last night - it was as if I was super-caffeinated. Plus when I finally did drop off, probably around midnight, I still woke around 3, then dozed off till the alarm went off at 5. Not a good night. My FIL can use some good thoughts. I won’t go into the details of his medical issues, but he had surgery last week, and again today, and he’s got another coming up in about 6 weeks. He’s 83, and apart from the physical stresses of surgery, he’s really down - not depressed, but very, very sad and despondent. Facing old age will do that to a body. ☹ And on that happy note, I think I’ll pull something out of the freezer. Happy Moanday! ---

I had some lunch which improved my mood a bit and made the day not seem to bad. **Doggio** is that your way of telling me I’m _special_ :dubious: Crossing fingers for **FCMFIL** **Jim** black or white makes no difference to me, but inies and outies do. Sah-son is mad at me. The driving is going slow because he doesn’t want to get his license. Well now the driving school called because they need to get him off their books and he has no choice but to get his ass out there and drive. I will not pay for him to go to class again. Also, I pointed out to him that he really should get out there and drive before the snow starts. Speaking of which, hell is likely to be freezing over any day now. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. 😃 \*\*Swampy \*\* there are days when it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed. ---
