Blurf. I should find my Red Shirt costume; I wore it to work last year after we’d heard layoffs were coming down the pipe. Or maybe I just need to make a big BLURF!! shirt 😛 ---

**Sari** so that was you I heard in my cookie drawer! You, not me, are the reason there are three less cookies than there was an hour ago. 😛 ---

Nah, it had to do with my work performance. He always calls me that when he needs something; especially if it’s short fused. Besides, he’s very married and so am I. I want to go home. ---

I voted! Yay. It’s done. I guess it’s like a band aid, you just got to rip it off quickly so it doesn’t hurt so much. ---

**Rosie** glad you’re ok! Also I am impressed that you felt the need to drive around until you found wifi just so you could post in the MMP. That, folks, is the definition of a dedicated Mumper. 😃 **{{{StickyBuns}}}** I know this is of little consolation but been there done that bought the tshirt and I feel for ya. ETA: Yay for votin’ **Apes**! I did that last Friday. I have my little “I’m A Georgia Voter” peach sticker stuck on my fridge to prove it too. ---

Thanks, **swampy**. The Halloween party that I was supposed to go to has morphed into not really a party at all, but the game group that I belong to is having a party tonight as well. Not sure if I want to go to it or not. Haven’t really been into games since D’s passing. Not sure if I want to start again… ---

Glad your safe **Rosie**! This year I picked candy I like so that I can eat the leftovers 😃 Hopefully we get more around than we did last year - there are a few more kids live in the neighbourhood now so we shall see. Work has been quiet all week while I have been waiting on month end to happen then the shit hits the fan starting tomorrow with reporting and presentations and planning for Dec-Feb. Fun! I need to do my expenses but I don’t want to tape the damn receipts onto individual 8X11 sheets. Maybes later. Happy Halloween! ---

I’m glad you’re safe, **rosie.** The shit has been hitting the fan for a long time at my office, ems. ☹ It’s been flung far and wide too. Latest is huge project due tomorrow and I have NOTHING that I need from the other contributors. Yeah, I don’t think I’m going to make the deadline. What really kills me is that I know it won’t go anywhere and I’ll only have to start it over under a different type of analysis in the next few months. What a PITA. ---

Since trunk or treat carryin’s on are happenin’ over to the church house, and YP and our Deacon are in The Dominican Republic this week on a mission trip there is no Evening Prayer service tonight. Thus I am all locked up inside da cave. I do have ice cream and cookies though. 😃 [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-early-worm-gets-the-bird-an-east-of-greenwich-mmp/639161.md?page=10) [Next page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-early-worm-gets-the-bird-an-east-of-greenwich-mmp/639161.md?page=12)
