I only use it when I’m making a big salad, stir fry or soup and need to cut up a lot of carrots or cucumbers. I tried to use it to make shredded lettuce once, and ended up with a tiny pile of very soggy lettuce mush. Oops. ---

Speaking of cotton candy, I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed that! When I was a kid, cotton candy was this stuff that was like angel hair. It was warm and melted instantly upon contact with any part of the mouth, face, or hand. This modern stuff is almost hard candy by comparison. It just ain’t the same.
