If you want to hate his thread, go ahead. If you want to hate his SN, go ahead. To me, it’s not that big of a deal. “Anal scurvy” creeps me out a hell of a lot more than “gorewonfla.” But you have the right to your opinion. Knock yourself out. But when you say things like “And stop bitching about the Supreme Court decision as if you were Inspector fucking Renault.” and “Look you whinging partisan assholes, shut up about the fucking Florida election already!” I say fuck that. Fuck that, I say. I think we may not have done enough talking about it. Oh sure, we pretty much had diarrhea of the keyboards back in Nov and Dec, but when the election was finally over, we dried up faster the Sahara on a hot day. It’s no longer in the news…it can’t be important anymore can it? WE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE SYSTEM and maybe the only way to get people’s attention is to shout that out. It won’t go away because we stick our fingers in our ears and shout “It’s been 8 months, let it go already.” I don’t give a shit about who won, WE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE SYSTEM. “He may have won, but he damn well won’t become president!” And there’s a major problem right there. It’s trouble I tell you. Trouble, that starts with T and that rhymes with E and that stands for electoral college. ---

It was about absentee ballots that didn’t have a postmark at all. If you’ve served in the military, you’ll undoubtedly know that stamps and postmarks aren’t required in a combat zone. Hell, you can write a letter on a cardboard box and it will get home. No, it was clearly about disqualifying military absentee ballots that were largely votes for G.W. Bush. After the midnight deadline for receiving overseas ballots passed, officials in every Florida county began counting the votes. The Gore lawyers eventually protested 41% of the military ballots. But determining “voter intent” by divining that a Buchanan vote is really a Gore vote is okay, of course. ---

Your posts are tied to your personal userid - yours is 14284, in case you wondered. Regardless of what sort of person you are, and regardless of your politics, your handle is somewhat inflammatory. Just as inflammatory as “IWuvGW” or “PerotRulz”. It colors the way people look at you before they even read the first word of your posts. You should consider changing it, or else it will, IMO, be a handicap towards getting your points across to others. When people see my handle, “Anthracite”, they think “coal”. Which is exactly what I want them to think. When they see a handle that is politically charged, they will carry either a positive or a negative bias with their comprehension when reading your works. ---
