Inspired by the recent thread on Aphex Twin. I don’t know how to do this, but let me start dropping names. If you like some in the list, you’ll probably like others. Oh yeah, and how bout some representative tracks too. Aphex Twin – Windowlicker; Alberto Balsam Amon Tobin – Deo, Slowly, 4 Ton Mantis DJ Shadow – What Does Your Soul Look Like (Part 2); Midnight in a Perfect World DJ Icey – Take The Time; Air Is Full Of Sound UNKLE – Bloodstain; Celestial Annihilation RJD2 – Smoke and Mirrors; Ghostwriter Underworld – Born Slippy Boards of Canada – ROYGBIV Squarepusher – Ultravistor Prodigy – The Weather Experience; 3 Kilos Massive Attack – Group Four; Inertia Creeps OK OK, so some of those might be Hip-Hop or Trip-Hop or whatever. Personally I wish people would use the word “electronica” or “techno” or something like that to refer to this whole genre. I don’t like seeing the term “electronic music” used for dance/beat-oriented styles–to me, at least, that phrase calls to mind the likes of Morton Subotnick, Tod Dockstadter, Pauline Oliveros, Ilhan Mimaroglu, Kenneth Gaburo, and so on, not Aphex Twin or Orbital. ---

Seconded **DJ Tiesto** ’s _Forever Today_ **Juno Reactor** - _Conga Fury_ (the whole _Bible of Dreams_ album actually) **Delerium** - _Silence_ (or any of its remixes. As near to perfect a song as possible, ironically reinforced by it’s malleability) So many others, but I usually listen to streaming broadcasts and never get a chance to hear artist or song names. Speaking of Tiësto, if you have a chance to see [Tiësto In Concert](http://www.tiestoinconcert.com/), don’t pass it up. It’s qyite the spectacle…the most fun I had in a long time.
