# The Enchirito is back! The People Rejoyce!

Most blind testers can not tell the difference, and of those that can, most prefer Pepsi. If the soda is not from a fountain, I can tell Diet Pepsi fro Diet Coke, and I slightly prefer Pepsi. If they only have Coke, I just as for a lime or lemon wedge, and I am happy. (we had a Coke fanatic in our gaming group, who used to drink a whole 2 liter bottle per game. One day when he went out for something, we refilled his third full bottle by removing Coke and putting in Pepsi, which he also claimed was “vile”- but he didn’t notice the difference. )
There used to be a thing, kinda like the current cheese roll up, bit with a chili sauce added. Simple, cheap and tasty. Does anyone remember the name?

Same, and I concur. Being older, I try not to get caffeinated later in the day. This is one way Coke wins with their Freestyle machines.

Unfortunately (for me, anyway) I don’t care for the taste of Diet-AnyCola (r) so the Freestyle machines do nothing to help me. At least, I have yet to run across one that offers Caffeine-free Coke. [Also (r).]

There has been a lot of discussion about these blind tastings and the results.
My view is that these results only hold if you are tasting a thimbleful of each for the purposes of the test. Pepsi is sweeter and smoother so does better in those taste tests.
I don’t drink thimblefuls of cola. Drinking a glassful, I can tell the difference immediately. I can easily distinguish Pepsi from Coke and Diet Pepsi from Diet Coke. There are some restaurants where the servers don’t strictly adhere to the “we have Pepsi, is that okay?” rule and I routinely catch them out when I get Pepsi instead of Coke.
Well, really it’s usually Diet Pepsi instead of Diet Coke, because I rarely drink real sugar sodas these days. Those two are easily told apart.

Even “real sugar” is difficult to find. When it’s available (12 packs in the market) I buy it for home consumption, but I don’t even hold out a hope that I won’t have high fructose corn syrup when I go out to eat.

I did one. It was a normal sized plastic cup, 1/3 full. Say, like 3oz.

Which is funny, because the sour cream is the only thing at Taco Bell _not_ made out of grease.
