Stay dry **Rosie**! Today started off ummm… interestin’. I get to irk and no electricity for almost thirty minutes. Now that the electricicals are workin’ again, the phones are havin’ to charge cause it looks like the power went off over night. Thus, there is one phone that works, the main phone which is a regular type phone, but the extensions which are cordless must charge up. Thus only one out of four phones works right now. Then again, nobody has called so maybe that’s a good omen. Oh well, we do what we must do. ---

Phones that don’t work when the power is out? Next thing you know, they’ll have phones that don’t even need wires. Think I’ll keep my old dial phones! Nothing bothers them other than those pesky backhoes. Of course, I still have a wood wall phone that I want to hook up to the VOIP line, just because I can. 😃 Looks like bad weather in Detroit is messing with DH’s travel plans. Stoopid rain. ---

Pretty sluggish day over here. Need to watch last night’s “Grimm”, and want to watch “The Green Mile” (we have an odd custom in our household: when an actor we like dies, if we can find a movie or TV show he/she was in, we watch that as soon as practical in their honor). Also need to get those pictures hung and do some general cleaning. ---

Back from the airport to a blessedly quiet house! 😃 Plus I got a bonus - my computer at work won’t be ready till Firday, so I won’t be starting work till Monday. yay! With luck, before the week is out, I can get a vet appt for the cat, a dr appt for me, and a haircut! \*\*BBBobbio \*\*- don’t need to hear the jokes - I’m related to most of them. 😛 Oh, I forgot to share the funniest part of the cruise - can’t believe I forgot this! The last day aboard as I was waiting to find out what became of my Kahlua, the guest services agent got a call … first I need to pause and tell you that the night before arriving at your final destination, you put your packed bags out in the corridor so they can be staged to be off-loaded as soon as you arrive. OK, back to the story … the guest services agent got a call from a passenger who apparently packed all of her clothes the night before - ALL of them - and she didn’t have anything to wear off the ship. :eek: By law, the stores aboard are locked up tight in port, and all guest services had to offer was a t-shirt. I don’t know what became of the passenger, but I have mental images of her stealing a couple of towels and fashioning a sari or something. 😃 And that’s that. Lunching in peace. _aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh_ ---

**N.O.L.** did make me happy. Now to mess around on teh intartoobz for a few. **MOOOOOOM** ummmmm… just _how_ do you reckon somebody could pack every stitch of their clothes and not have it occur to ‘em at _anytime_ durin’ the packin’ to have sump’n to wear off the ship. Also, I picture her completely nekkid whilst packin’. It amuses me. ---
