If it was just a big fat nothing or something easily covered up they wouldn’t be fighting like this to keep them from being released. ---

Agree. I mean, it’s possible Trump isn’t really implicated, but people he needs are. Imagine a who’s who of Republican heavyweights are implicated? Goodbye mid terms. ---

That’s something I think would be likely – that whatever can be about _him_ is awkward but not provably criminal, he’ll just fight like hell anything that may embarass him because taking things personally is what he does. But OTOH mybe there’s evidence that people important not just for him but for the whole “rich schmucks getting away with shit” ecosystem are in too deep. ---

And of course, if you’re a Dem or anyone else who had an innocent (meaning plain business and not his criminal activities) relationship with Epstein, you might feel tempted to remain silent on the Files, because how do you prove it? It’s a useful brush, and the fact that Trump and Co. haven’t tried to smear their opponents with bits and pieces is interesting. I also do genuinely think Epstein killed himself, or at least was provided with the means, and wasn’t murdered. That’s just too complicated. ---

If it’s revealed with absolute evidence that Trump molested 13 year old girls, then the MAGAts would immediately pivot to tell us that it’s patriotic to molest children, and would start bragging about doing it themselves. ---

Because they are completely 100% redacted. At this point, our ‘DOJ’ has had them so long nobody will ever trust what ever is in there. The people that do know, are either at risk or paid of and at risk too. At risk for divulging what’s in the files. And probably a dozen other things. The DOJ is a joke. A bad joke. ---
