# The EU just approved a $54 billion aid package for Ukraine

Being careful how I word this in order to not get in trouble on the board, but the EU has finally reached an arrangement that would send $54 billion in aid to Ukraine. It is likely to take all the form of economic aid in loans, grants and what not and will be light or non-existent on weaponry support, which is what Ukraine really needs at this point. (That part would have to come from the United States, and it’s stalled indefinitely.)

I thought the acting was better than the screenplay, but it got all the big Oscar nominations. Swinton won. Definitely worth seeing.
