I think the benefit of any doubt should go to the person who was defending themselves. A tremendous amount of “out of proportion” self defense response slack should be given to a person who is the victim of violent unprovoked attack. I honestly wish every asshole who treated someone the way those women treated that cashier would get their fucking skulls cracked. ---

There’s a difference between getting caught up in the adrenaline of defending yourself in a fight and perhaps throwing a punch or kick to the fallen foe even though they aren’t fighting back anymore and repeatedly bludgeoning that person’s vulnerable, injured body with a deadly weapon while others are attempting to restrain you from doing so. And the fact that it was a man bludgeoning a woman is relevant. ---

He didn’t “retreat” as far as I could tell. That would be the response of some message board pussy who has never been in a fight and doesn’t understand what’s at stake. He manfully hit her back then went and got a weapon to correctly kill them both with. I wonder if I can find his address so I can send a thank you note to the room where he’ll be staying which totally will not be a state facility where he gets fed through a hatch because he’s never done anything wrong. I’ve read a couple of statements in this thread about the guy having been in prison. So? He’s working a legal job and gets slapped and jumped. He - because he has done his time - should just stand there and let the bitch pass off fake mney? Or just slap him? Once you have done your time, it is done. I don’t care what he did in the past…getting slapped by some stupid bitch was not part of his punishment. ---

What the fuck is going on here? The cashier was CLEARLY defending himself against two aggressive attackers in his place of work. The extra whacks when they were down weren’t particularly cool, but yeah, I can understand them.
