**punctuation** is the noun version of the word _punctuous_.

_Punctuous_ is another blended word, formed by combining the words “pun” and “unctuous”. Thus, \*punctuous \* is an adjective describing a smarmy guy who tries to be your best buddy (or hit on you) by telling bad jokes and insincere compliments. **Punctuation** is the above-mentioned jokes and compliments he uses.

Usage: _Keep that creepy guy at the bar away from me; I’ve had enough of his punctuation!_ \<or\> _Whenever Donald Trump’s around, you could drown in all the punctuation._
