Maybe, if you’d had a phone on you (some people don’t, I’m just saying) you could have called the police and told them what happened; describing the van and saying it had no license. That is, I believe, against the law to drive without one, so they could’ve stopped her, at least. ---

And her being morbidly obese (combined with all of the other facts the OP provides about her) very much DOES have a lot to do with why the OP was mad at her; it’s not just a gratuitous reference. She’s just running through life bumping off of shit and then moving on down the road without taking care of the problem, which is why she got fat in the first place. ---

Oh, please, all of you really need to get over yourselves and dedicate all of this energy to something that matters. “Fat” is a descriptive adjective. Guess what? I’m fat. You know why? I don’t exercize enough, something I’m trying to change, but if I was the person involved and Keith said “That fat guy hit me”, I wouldn’t say boo, because it’s the truth. Recognizing this truth is what has made me start to increase my exercise level. If I ignored it or went around in a snit because people rightly described me as fat I’d have tons of excuses for being fat and no incentive to change. ---
