I’d have done better if I realized that in the US you typically will not find beer in a dorm room, but will in a convenience store! I have to start thinking American. ---

It’s absurd how thrilling it is to come in first in the Feud. For the record – the non-beer thing is probably less about the fact that I don’t drink and more about the fact that I live in a state with 19th-century liquor laws, where convenience stores don’t sell beer. You found beer in college students. It wasn’t until you graduated and got a job that you could afford to stock up on beer you didn’t have immediate plans for. ---
