I’ve heard of the work you cited, but it wasn’t on my mind when I said “Amy” – I was thinking of [this song](http://www.rhapsody.com/pure-prairie-league/greatest-hits/amie/lyrics.html), and never realized until now that Pure Prairie League spelled the name “Amie”. ---
