I thought about putting Tasmania or Tahiti, but that just wouldn’t be right. I have a feeling Tasmania will probably beat Townsville, though.
Huh, I was wrong about that, I’m glad I was. I guess everyone else googled for a city name like I did!
I didn’t realise Googling was so prevalent in this game (I haven’t played much before). I got the feeling from the way the rules are phrased (sort of “Google, if you really must”) that it was perhaps slightly frowned on, but I guess not.
Next time, I’m straight on to Google
I googled to check that Tasmania wasn’t also a city, since I was pretty sure it wasn’t. Then I googled for an actual city.
Quick moving feud. I’m #45.

4. aka Torino
10. Shows up at #6 on Wikipedia’s list of the largest urban centers in Australia (combined with Gold Coast)
:smack: Tokyo and San Fran. Lots of points going buh-bye…
By my count, **Wheelz **is 49.
Yes, but Gold Coast is by far the larger part of that metro area (400,000 to 50,000 population). In addition, Tweed Heads is not incorporated as a city: it’s part of Tweed Shire, and the administrative centre of the shire is Murwillumbah – though there is a branch office at Tweed Heads.
(I know all this stuff partly because my brother-in-law works for Tweed Shire, and partly because I’ve been through the area many times.)
