I think sideboard equates to buffet as that thing you sit food on in the dining room. I have a china cabinet and a sideboard. Then again, I’m also gay, so I would. 😃

To my mind, a china cabinet is a tall vertical thing with a glass front (so you can see your fancy china even when you’re not using it) and a door that opens so you can store things inside. It may not even have a top surface, instead going all the way to the ceiling. A sideboard or buffet, meanwhile, exists primarily for its top surface, and is longer than it is tall (though still taller than a dining room table). It might still have storage cabinets underneath, but that’s not its primary function.

Since I matched **swampbear** exactly 3 times in the inkblot feud, it seems I have brought him down close to my level. He finishes 18th and I finished my typical middle of the pack (26th).
