Ok, I admit… I don’t read it at all. I just look at the nice pictures.

I do both. But I linger over (some of) the pictures.

Hey, I read it. The interviews were well-done and insightful, and the reviews of movies and music were interesting. Never cared much for the fiction though. The pictures were certainly nice, but there was a lot more to it than just photos.

A fun Feud, Dolores and Sublight. Thanks!

Barbi Benton appeared on several covers and pictorials, but was never a Playmate of the Month.

Dorothy Stratten actually does fit in both categories. She was PotM for August 1979 and Playmate of the Year in 1980.

Candy Loving was featured in January 1979 as the 25th Anniversary Playmate.

Cheryl Tiegs has been pictured in several issues of Playboy, but was never a Playmate.

Debra Jo Fondren was PotM for September 1977 and then 1978’s PotY.

Pamela Anderson was February 1990 PotM.

Anna Nicole Smith appeared on the cover in March 1992 (billed as Vickie Smith), the centerfold two months later, and as PotY in 1993.

Claudia Jennings took monthly honors for November 1969 prior to being selected PotY for 1970. She died in a car accident in 1979.

Jenny McCarhy graced the October 1993 gatefold before being honored as PotY for 1994.

Jessica Simpson has apparently been courted by Playboy, but has yet to accept Hef’s offer to pose for a pictorial.

Petra Verkaik has parlayed her December 1989 PotM selection into a career as the most published woman in the magazine’s history. She has appeared in over 70 Playboy publications in the USA alone.

Shannon Tweed was the November 1981 PotM as well as PotY for 1982.

Tawny Kitaen was never a Playmate, but has been featured in at least one Playboy article.
