When I read question #6, I interpreted it to be the hit song by the artist that only had that one hit. So when I collate, I will match songs with singers because we were all trying to answer the basic premise - the hit song by a one-hit wonder artist. Thanks for the list, **42fish**. 🙂

When I hear the phrase “one-hit wonder,” I think of an individual or band, not the song itself. The phrase is IME used to refer to the performer(s) and not the song.

Came in to see how I did, and remembered the board crashed as I submittted my post. I’d have done well, too. I remember having Liddy and Steinem and Hocus Pocus by Focus (sorry, **Labtrash** ). Oh well.

Well, ya know, I was in college for a fair portion of the 70’s, mostly stoned out of my gourd. Yeah, that’s the reason I placed 16th. I was mostly in a haze.

I was one of the three that picked TNTLWOIG by Vicky Lawrence. unfortunately the extra points won’t help my placing.

Lets see I was last in the 60’s, 32nd in the 70’s. I figure if we do a feud on the roaring 2020’s, I might get into the top 10.

I wonder if anyone could design a good feud on the future.
