My first thought was actually _On Golden Pond_, but I started obsessing on the “gold/golden” distinction – before going with _Goldfinger_, which of course isn’t an uninflected version of “gold” either.

Straight brainfart. I actually started with “Picture,” thought “that’s not right,” so I changed it – shoulda checked it. I play a pretty purist version of the Feud – no googling. Maybe that’s where I go wrong …

They may have the same last name and are played by the same actress, but they are most decidedly not the same character.

In fact, the original protagonist for _Rum Punch_ was named Jackie Burke. But when Quentin Tarantino, who adapted the book, cast Pam Grier in the role, he renamed the character “Brown” as an homage to _Foxy Brown_.
