It’s a line from “A Day in the Life” by The Beatles. _I read the news today, oh boy Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire And though the holes were rather small They had to count them all Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall I’d love to turn…you…on…_ Having never known the meaning before, just the line, wiki says it’s from a newspaper article that said there were lots of potholes in Blackburn. ---

Holy cow, Top 5! I hope this doesn’t mean I only do well when I answer Feuds from out of town… As to the Beatles reference, I didn’t get it, either. Funny thing is, I know and have the album, and really enjoy that song, but I had no idea that’s what was being said there. Guess I ought to pay more attention to the music I listen to! ---
