It’s about predicting what other people will say, not about what you think is the right answer. Richard Petty’s a hundred times more famous than Dick Trickle.

I remember once watching the real Family Feud. The question was “name a large fish.” The contestant said “whale.” I, a kid, howled that the answer was stupid. My father, who was watching as well, said, “It’s an excellent answer, son. It doesn’t matter that it’s wrong; what matters is that other people probably said it.” And he was right.
