The Feud: Units of Measure by Labtrash (game over)

  1. yard
  2. ounce
  3. pint
  4. centimeter
  5. tablespoon
  6. feet
  7. cubic centimeters
  8. bushel
  9. fathoms
  10. schosh

How does #1 differ from #4, really?
6: should really be “foot,” hey? Sorry about that.
7: As in CCs, like 10 cc solution
10: As in, “turn it up a schosh, wouldja?” May also be spelled skosh. Common here in the upper midwest.

I wanted to say Nautical Mile but thought that it was basically a knot.

  1. furlong
  2. ounce
  3. cup
  4. Yard
  5. tablespoon
  6. foot
  7. cubic centimeter
  8. bushel
  9. fathom
  10. pinch

Oops - my fault on the length/distance thing. I changed labtrash’s questions up a bit. In my mind, distance is really long, length is kinda short. Hence, distance (not miles) and length (not inches.)

All you nitpickers send me a new game, stat!

  1. furlong
  2. ounce
  3. cup
  4. feet

  10. click

The knot is a unit of speed, equal to one nautical mile per hour.

And of course, it doesn’t matter if they’re technically the same, if they generate different sorts of answers. While I could describe the distance to M31 in inches, or the length of a piece of string in lightyears, I wouldn’t.
