The Final Farewell to Friends Trivia Thread.

Good, Susie!
Number 6. Yes, he bought the “V” volume. But which guy was it, Penn or Teller?

Number 9. Yes on Weekend at Bernie’s, but, no, not * Room With A View*.

Number 13. Not quite what I was going for. That’s how they kept it after they got it back. How did they get it back?

  1. Chloe the copy girl

  2. As I recall, lawn chairs and a patio table (and they had the canoe from the entertainment centre trade).

  1. What was the problem with Fun Bobby? Why did he break up with Monica?
He stopped drinking and was no longer fun. Because he thought she drank too much.
  2. Why did Monica break up with Richard?
He didn’t want any more children.

5. What is the name of Joey’s TV?
Stevey

6. What items did Ross have prepared for a night with Gandalf?
Extra socks, a snake-bite kit and Canadian money?

7. Where did Ross, Monica and Rachel go to high school?
Lincoln High

8. What female-empowerment book were the girls reading?
“Be Your Own Windkeeper.” Rachel said it could have been called, “Be Your Own Windkeeper, Rachel”, but then, according to Phoebe, it wouldn’t have sold a million copies.

9. Who had an unusually close relationship with his sister? (Not Ross)
Danny, who was the Yeti-looking guy that Monica and Rachel fogged in the basement, and who rachel dated for a couple of episodes.

I see! They swapped them back while the guys were at a Nicks (?) game. It was Phoebe’s idea.

I really don’t know Penn from Teller, sorry! And I see now that the answer to number 9 is Dangerous Liasions.

1. What company featured Marcell in its commercial?
MonkeyShine Beer.

2. What was the name of Rachel’s tardy prom date?
Chip Matthews.

Penn.

Close. Two out of three right.

No on both. The girls kept the apartment by kissing each other, but how did they get it back in the first place?

Not quite on #16. The eyelash curler tipped him off, but there was a different event that caused him to put two and two together. Chandler mentioned it to Joey in regard to his weekend, and then he heard Monica mention the same event to Phoebe.

Yes!

Remaining unanswered questions.

“Are we going to the zoo today?”

What was Joey’s father’s paramour’s occupation?(The answerer was not sure if this answer was correct.)

  1. According to Susan, what does breastmilk taste like? When Ross tastes it, what does he chase it with?(part b remains unanswered)

What is it about Joey’s play “Freud!” that scares Phoebe?

How does Joey find out about Chandler and Monica?

  1. What items did Ross have prepared for a night with Gandalf?
Extra socks, a passport and Canadian money.

To which Chandler replied, “It’s not gonna be exactly like last time.”

Well this time I’ll try to get in before anyone else answers. This is a fast moving thread.

The chick, I believe, was named Yasmine (after Yasmine Bleeth of Baywatch) and the duck was named Duck.

The zoo one has me totally stumped. I have no idea what that is about.

Joey’s dad’s girlfriend is either a dog groomer or a pet mortician. I remember Joey’s mother called her a “poodle stuffer.”
I asked what Ross chased the breastmilk with. Hint: It was a specific type of cookie.

How many women in Rachel’s room gave birth before her?

  1. How many kinds (and what types) of potatoes did Monica make for Thanksgiving in “TOW Underdog Gets Away” ? Which Friend wanted which type? Be specific.
  2. What was wrong with Monica’s boyfriend Ethan?

Oh, and The Geller Cup was a troll doll nailed to a board.

What is it about Joey’s play “Freud!” that scares Phoebe?
Was it the exclamation point?

How does Joey find out about Chandler and Monica?
Donald Trump and eyelash curlers.

Hint: It’s Joey testing out a word.

These were all answered. The potatoes were lumpy for Ross, lumpy with peas for Phoebe, and Tater Tots for Joey.

The problem with Ethan was that he was in high school. “Ooooh, I’m a senior. In high school.” She thought he was in college.

And the Geller Cup was indeed a troll doll nailed to a board that they played for each Thanksgiving. Ross thought it had been thrown in the lake, but Monica had it. They weren’t allowed to play football anymore, after a particularly nasty year.

Supposably!

Yes and yes. Phoebe said the exclamation point scared her.

And it was both of them mentioning Donald Trump that made Joey realize they were together. One of the best moments of the show, IMO. He’s sitting there, being Joey, and you see him make the connection. “Oh! Oh! You! And you!” And they drag him off into the bedroom.

Nitpicks:
Miss Chanandeler Bong (not Mrs.)

I believe the spelling would be Regina Phalange (as in phalanges, plural of phalanx, a finger or toe joint.

New questions:

  1. What name did Phoebe sign for Monica’s racecar bed? (Not “Regina P.”!)

  2. To what song did Joey and the super perform their last dance rehearsal on the roof?

  3. Name the occupations of two of Emily’s relatives.

Yay!
