The Final Farewell to Friends Trivia Thread.

SV1. An armadillo. I think it was called the Holiday Armadillo.

Ph1. Why couldn’t the armadillo and Santa be in the same room?
Ph2. In the blackout episode Mr. Heckles finds a cat and claims it’s his. What name did he give it?

Ph1. Why couldn’t the armadillo and Santa be in the same room?
Because the Universe would explode.

SV3. Where did Chandler get “exiled” when his attention drifted at a meeting?
Tulsa, Oklahoma.

2. What was Rachel’s dead dog’s name?
Le Pew

3. What was Ross and Monica’s dead dog’s name?
Chi-chi.

2. What was Rachel’s dead dog’s name?
Le Pew
[/QUOTE]

Nope, I have that wrong, it’s “LePooh.”

What did Rachel’s sister call her baby instead of Emma?

Emmett.

Who stuck their head inside of a turkey?

It was Joey and Monica (er, not both at the same time though!)

What did the cat do to convince Phoebe it was her grandmother?

Can’t remember what it did, but it convinced Phoebe it was her mother, not her grandmother.

What was Joey’s father’s paramour’s occupation?

She was a pet taxidermist.

More questions:

  1. What happened to the first wedding dress Monica picked out?

  2. How many people “drank the fat”?

  3. What does Rachel wear to try to impress Joshua?

  4. In the episode where Ross and Joey are climbing down the fire escape, how much does Ross weigh?

  5. What does Monica want to do at her parents anniversary party that Ross normally does, and why?

  1. What does Rachel wear to try to impress Joshua?
    A cheerleader outfit.
    That’s all I got.

I’ve done a review of unanswered question, not including Jennyrosity’s last question (including the one about who ‘drank the fat’.

Here they are:
1.Who is Zelda?
2.What is the name of Chandler’s mother’s book?
3.Name the occupations of two of Emily’s relatives
4.Why did Phoebe once stab a cop?
5.Why was there a porcupine at the Easter Bunny’s funeral?
6.How did Chandler say Ross had died on the alumni website?
7.Where did Ross and Rachel first make out?

I think 7 is the science museum, where Ross put on some romantic music, after pressing the wrong button the first time, and getting some talk thing about astronomy instead. I think Zelda is some friend or relation to Phoebe, but more than that I don’t know. I presume 5 is the reference to Ross’ ‘holiday armadillo’ that has been already mentioned. Don’t know about the rest.

Here are some more questions.

SF1:What do ‘rachem’, and WENUS mean, and in what context?
SF2:What did Monica call her virginity?
SF3:How and why does Chandler lose a toe?
SF4:Writing lists is not a good idea for Ross, but why? (2 different answers here)?
SF5:Which of the friends had a hairdressing disaster, caused by who, and what was the problem?
I’ve also thought of two more Phoebe impersonation moments. She pretends to be a doctor (Regina P. again, I think), after Ross says Rachel’s name at his and Emily’s wedding, to convince people that it was because he hadn’t taken his ‘brain medicine’, and so girl’s names are interchangable. She also pretends to be Ben’s mom (Carol?), to try and meet Sting.

  1. No idea.
  2. Mistress Bitch
  3. step mom is some sort of planner/pr something.
  4. he stabbed her first
  5. ? I don’t remember a porcupine
  6. don’t remember
  7. Central Perk, then Monica’s house, then the planetarium

SF1: Chnadler’s typo on the pro/con list for Rachel vs. Julie. It was supposed to say that the con for Julie was simply that she wasn’t Rachel. But Rachel thinks it is “some paleontologist phrase that I wouln’t know because I am just a waitress.” WENUS=week-ending net usage system

SF2: her flower

SF3: Monica is trying to seduce him and she drops a knife onto his foot. He is wearing wicker shoes and it slices right off. They try to reattach it but Monica saved a piece of carrot instead of C’s toe.

SF4: one because of the aforementioned pro/con list. Can’t remember the other right now.

SF5: Monica lets Phoebe cut her hair to look like “Demi Moore.” Pheebs thinks this is Dudley Moore. Hilarity ensues.

What was the occupation of Phoebe’s real mom, and what was wrong with an item she was trying to sell?

What did Phoebe find out was the origin of “Smelly Cat?”

What did Phoebe find out was the origin of "Smelly Cat?"
It was a lullaby her real father used to sing: “Sleepy girls, sleepy girls, why won’t you go to sleep? Sleepy girls, sleepy girls, you’re keeping me up!”

3. step mom is some sort of planner/pr something.
Mmmm, not quite.

She had to give it to a rival shopper, because that shopper booked the band that Chandler had his heart set on. In order to get the band she had to let that shopper have the dress.
More questions:

  1. What was the one thing Joey wanted from Mr. Heckler’s apartment?

  2. What was the one thing Rachel wanted from Mr. Heckler’s apartment?

  3. What became of Rachel’s item?

  4. What was the name of the massage client who briefly inhabited Phoebe’s body?

  5. Why did that client do so?

1. What was the one thing Joey wanted from Mr. Heckler’s apartment?
That magnifying thing that he liked to stand behind. (It was an old thing to put in front of TV screens)

2. What was the one thing Rachel wanted from Mr. Heckler’s apartment?
The shell lamp.

3. What became of Rachel’s item?
Monica broke it accidentally.

4. What was the name of the massage client who briefly inhabited Phoebe’s body?
Mrs. Adelman. SHe died on Phoebe’s table.

5. Why did that client do so?
She wasn’t ready to leave yet, because she hadn’t seen everything yet. After she went to Carol and Susan’s wedding, she decided she’d “seen everything” and left.

1.Who is Zelda?
—>The Vicar’s daughter (or something like that)

3.Name the occupations of two of Emily’s relatives
—>her uncle was Rachel’s boss when Rachel was flirting with Joshua, which is how Emily met Ross in the first place.

SF1:What do ‘rachem’, and WENUS mean, and in what context?
—>WENUS is actually “Weekly Estimated Net Usage Statistics”, I believe

SF2:What did Monica call her virginity?
—>in the alternate history episode, she called it her flower. Presumably, that’s not really canonical…

Here are a few:
(1) What three things does Joey always come up with when trying to name something that is white?
(2) According to John Lovitz('s character), what word has lost all meaning?

Also, here’s a challenge… can we name every romantic relationship (outside the group, and excluding one-night stands) that each of the 6 main characters has had? (I’m also not counting things that are mentioned to have happened in the past, but that don’t take place either on-camera, or at least chronologically-on-camera).

So far, I’ve come up with:

Ross:
Carole (ex-wife, lesbian)
Emily (ex-wife, British)
Julie (Asian, dumped for Rachel)
Mona (met at wedding, changes his locks)
Elizabeth (student of his)
Charlie (black colleague)
The woman who Rachel convinced to go bald again
Rachel:
Paolo (it was nothing but raw animal heat!)
Elizabeth’s dad (Bruce Willis)
Danny (the yeti)
Joshua (freaked him out by proposing)

Monica:
The guy who pretended to be impotent
Richard (Tom Selleck, Chandler is jealous of his moustache)
Fun Bobby (became less fun when sober)
The psychiatrist who drove everyone batty
The millionaire

Phoebe:
Gay husband ice dancer
Charlie Sheen (navy guy)
David (scientist guy)
Mike (eventually married him. Then he vanished.)
The Policeman (took the guys for a ride-along)
The Health code inspector
The Fireman
The Teacher

Chandler:
Cathy (she’s why he ended up in the box)
Rachel’s boss (handcuffs were involved)
Janice (Oh, my, God!)
The exotic woman who had a husband and many lovers

Joey:
Cathy (should have been with Chandler in the first place)
Charlie (should have been with Ross in the first place)
The girl who punched him repeatedly
That actress who left him during the play with the UFO
Elle MacPherson’s character (the dancer)
The girl who Rachel and Monica really really liked, but who didn’t really like him

Who am I forgetting?

The obvious one for Ross: Chloe from the copy place!
Monica’s impotent guy was Paul the Wine Guy. The phychiatrist was Phoebe’s guy; Monica had young Ethan and Alan, whom everyone loved.

Rachel’s boss was Alison, I think; the exotic woman with Chandler was Aurora.

Did Phoebe actually sleep with health inspector guy? Not sure–but she did sleep with Sean Penn, her sister’s finace.

Christ no. FIANCE, not finace. Sheesh!
And now that I think about it, Rachel’s boss was JOANNA; the part was played by Alison La Placa so that’s why I said that.

Chloe at the copy place was only a one night stand, and thus excluded from the rules of this question.

I don’t think we know for certain whether Phoebe slept with the health inspector guy, but they went out long enough to shut down all her favorite restaurants, so the relationship obviously had some duration.
Two others I thought of, speaking of Ursula:
Joey dated Ursula for a while, and Phoebe went out on a few dates with the guy who was stalking Ursula.
Did anything ever happen with the female paleontologist who Ross made out with in the section of the library where they stored his thesis?

Tartlette (I’m not sure I spelled that correctly.)
Here’s some.

What was the product that Monica was hired to develop recipes for?

What was the hold up bringing that product to market?

What was the product that Monica was hired to develop recipes for?
—>Mockolate (fake chocolate)

What was the hold up bringing that product to market?
—>FDA approval. (Or was it something more specific than that?)

  1. In the episode where Ross and Joey are climbing down the fire escape, how much does Ross weigh?

He’d prefer not to say right now, he’s still carrying a little holiday weight…

  1. What does Monica want to do at her parents anniversary party that Ross normally does, and why?

She wants to give the speech so that she can make them cry.

Yeah, it was FDA approval. They didn’t get it though because of the side effects. He asked Monica if she’d eaten “a lot” of it when she was developing her recipes. She said she’d eaten “some” and he laughed and said “some is not a lot.” Then he asked her if it burned when she peed.

What did the cat do to convince Phoebe it was her grandmother?

She thought the cat was her mother, and she thought that because it came and sat in her guitar case. The case lining was orange, and her mom’s favorite fish was orange roughy.

Oh, and to add to the list of Emily’s relatives, her mother (step-mother?) is a decorator.
