I missed it, what made the crowd go “oh!” a second ago?
Based on Obama’s answer regarding support for Israel, I trust we won’t hear any more about how soft he is on that issue. Right? Right?
I keep hearing more about how Romney agrees with Obama.
You know, if Israel is our greatest friend in the region, that’s kinda mean to Turkey, what with Turkey actually being in NATO and all.
15 minutes late, but I loved when Romney freed Poland. Again!
If you mean a few minutes ago (at about 9:40 ET), Romney criticized Obama’s Navy for having fewer ships than our navy in 1917, and Obama came back with “Well our military also has fewer horses and bayonets too” and followed up with quips about how our Navy now has ships that airplanes land on and that go underwater.
Genocide in citation or genocide incitation? Way to go, Mitt–call their diplomats scum. That’ll bring 'em to the table and open to listening!
"Ships carrying Iranian oil can’t come into our ports. I imagine the EEU would support this "
Uhhh, quite the imagination there, Mittster.
Wait a minute! Republicans don’t believe in things like the ICC! I call shenanigans!
“His words amount to incitement to genocide”? Is that even a thing?
Thank goodness for this play-by-play thread. If I were watching this with no outlet, my head would surely explode.
Well, we always had ships that went underwater. These come back up.
Of course Romney has enough foreign policy experience to understand that. Right, Governor.
Thats why he wants the navy! Keep their ships from our ports! ( Somewhere someone in Romney’s campaign is saying, "Dammit! I TOLD you not to play ‘Battleship’ as his ‘in flight movie’…!)
I had to pause the DVR so that I could laugh at the horses and bayonets line, and it just kept going - “they’re called aircraft carriers and they can have planes land on them.” Holy shit - that was a fist to the taint!
“We’ve visited the website a lot, and it still doesn’t add up.”
Also, when Mitt wanted more time to go back to the military question, Obama says “He should have answered that question before.”
Obama is on fire.
How exactly is Romney going to indict the President of Iran?
It would be a hell of a band name.
I would guess that at the time of Romney’s governorship, the top states for education were Iowa, the Dakotas, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
ACT and SAT scores from those states would be at or near the high. Same for percentage of students graduating from high school.
Romney is making a rousing, effective case for Obama’s foreign policy.
