The final presidential debate: 10/22/12

Breast cancer awareness month?

Yes. Mitt is spewing his geography lessons again. Nobody is walking away from Pakistan. Ooh, let’s bring up Israel and Palestinians–let’s KICK THAT CAN DOWN THE ROAD, Mittens!

I’m listening and not watching, but Romney is stammering something fierce, and with no visual he sounds like a late 80’s Reagan ( the old version ).

And Romney stop whining to the moderator like a picked-on first grader, …You can’t really believe you are entitled to the last word EVERY time.

Drones are being used in drone strikes now?! Will wonders never cease.

So we now have to bring democracy to Pakistan?

Oh, thank goodness. So its not anything gay or about Twilight?

Romney: we will ignore national borders and kill people with drones wherever we want.

To be fair, I’m not sure that’s any different from current policy.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. He’s expressing his solidarity with the womenfolk.

I think you’ve sorely underestimated his capacity to feel entitled.

I thought there was democracy in Pakistan. Not a great democracy, but a democracy nonetheless.

Does Romney knows that Libyans at least protested in favor of the USA and the European allies and got the sympathizers of Al-queida packing from Benghazi after the recent consulate attack?

Governor Romney has been harping lately on how important it is to impose “crippling sanctions” on Iran to bend them to our will wrt nuclear weapons.

Listening to Morning Edition on the way home from work today, I heard an item about a rumor that Iran and the US had laid the groundwork for some one-on-one negotiations on the nuclear issue. While the item was quite clear on the White House denying that there was any factual basis for the rumor, it was also quite clear that Iran is indeed feeling “crippled” by the current regime of sanctions.

And yes, I do acknowledge that the latest bit of bad news (from Iran’s perspective) is in fact from Europe tightening certain restrictions on Iran’s ability to sell its product. Still, this is an example of President Obama knowing when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em.

Romney: Pakistan is technically our ally.

Technically.

Newsflash: the world is in turmoil. Also, Pope is Catholic.

China in da house!

Plus, so far all I’ve heard is Mitt criticizes the President, but won’t do anything different. So, there you go. Ah, Obama saved jobs from moving to China, Mitt sends them to China.

China. Took goddam long enough.

And blinking like a motherfuck.

It fluoresces anytime someone starts spinning uranium. Although, I can’t think of a country that would want to spin uranium.

It beats the hell out of the old strategy of mounting bayonets on drones.

Ohio! drink!

But a great opening from the Moderator: “The rise of CHINA…”
