Well, I just learned something. Not only did they Bungle up the extra point kick. But when they did the failed onside kick, it was Quincy Morgan who caught the ball. Quincy Morgan was on Denver’s “hands” team. On the other hand, that was an awesome kick and coaching decision too - kick the ball to Morgan and 90% of the time, it’s yours. ---

Two of my uncles and my cousins were there yesterday. They said it was pretty bad. Oh well, at least the Eagles beat the Cowboys-one PA team is doing well. And I hate the Cowboys. ---

Me too! It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see the 'Skins have some work to do over the next couple of years, but at the very least I don’t want to see the Cowboys or the Ravens go deep. Better believe, BTW, that if the Ravens and Chargers should meet in January there will be no repeat of their earlier skirmish–Martyball was ditched for Cammyball immediately after that game and there’s no defense in the league that can handle them now, not even Baltimore. ---

Balitmore won’t win a playoff game, unless they happened to get matched up against Indy, which is unlikely. Even then, it’s not a given, only a cahnce. ---

Philly teams are so skilled at whipping the fans into a frenzy, packing the sports bars, selling fan crappola, and then on playoff night, the rest of the US cocks an ear to the middle atlantic to hear Philly fans express their religious fervor with cries of, “JESUS CHRIST!!!” and “OH MY GOD!!” as their team performs the celebrated spin, flip, crash, and burn-usually in the crucial final moments of a game. ---

The Bolts don’t have any high quality WRs to open the game up downfield, and Rivers is a rookie showing signs of hitting the wall who won’t be able to do it all if LT is contained. Seattle is a middle of the road defense and they held down the Bolts for 59 minutes and 32 seconds last week. Boulware letting the WR get behind him on that last play was inexcusable, a Pop Warner league mistake. Believe you me, the Ravens won’t make mistakes like that. This game has been a microcosm of the season. Pittsburgh dominates, but keeps the other team in it until the very end. Unbelievably they needed a choke from the Bengals’ kicker to make it to overtime. I’d like to see them march down the field and take Cinci’s heart (and their playoff chances) and end the season with a little self-respect (they just won the coin toss). But no, they’ll probably fumble it away. _sigh_ ---

Bwahahahaha! I have never been so happy to be so wrong. I take slace in the fact that the Steelers were the best team not to make the playoffs. I also take solace in the fact that Ocho-Cinco is calling for his tee times een as we speak. I hope Bill returns, but if he doesn’t I wish him well.
