I can’t believe I missed this thread for so long! Of course, now that I’ve found it it seems like I can’t make it as I have plans for the 6th with an old college chum. Who knows, if that tanks maybe I can hook-up late with y’all? I can’t really tell if a place was settled on but please keep me in the loop in case I get a chance to swing by. ---

Lets hear some suggestions for non alcohol comestibles! Do we want to go somewhere or get something delivered to our final destination. (see below) Also, can we have another roll call so we can plan better? If its not so god damn cold, perhaps a pubcrawl would be preferable- That way, we can make decisions on staying or not and if we find somewthing really cool we can change our plans! ---

Hmmm, I _love_ flannel sheets. Food? Yes. Want food at DopeFest. How about Dim Sum - although then you might be tempted to beat your food-consumption-in-a-single-sitting record and I don’t think any of us want to see that. But I should be hungry again by the 6th. Right now I feel ready to burst after eating horseradish and pepper encrusterd beef tenderloin roast for dinner, with a nice Caesar salad and some kinda cauliflower cheese thingy, and molten chocolate cake for dessert. Most any kind of eats is ok with me, except for sushi or other uncooked things. Well, umm, you know what I mean. If we ever get around to picking a bar to start at, why not just pick a restaurant in the general neighborhood to meet a couple of hours earlier for the folks who want to set a good base of food to absorb the alcohol? But that means another decision, and we don’t seem to good at those. 😉 ---

OK…let me 'splain…no, there is too much, let me sum up… Just to clarify, you’re doing this on Jan. 6th at a place that has yet to be determined? I’ll be a definite maybe. If I can either find someone from Spiffled to share driving duties with or find a couch to crash on in the Chicagoland area for the night, I’ll certainly consider attending.
