I think the only reason the original series was successful was that there were only 3 channels. When the Flintstones was the best thing on, you realize the suckitude of tv of that era. ---

Gottfried is unfortunately too busy being dead to play any roles right now. I could see, say, Maurice LaMarche doing great as Gazoo, though. ---

Yes, Gottfried is dead. Hence my saying that they missed the opportunity to use him. Maurice LaMarche wouldn’t be a bad choice, especially since Joe Alaska died, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they got Tara Strong or Cree Summer if they decided to add Gazoo. ---

I suppose there is reason to dread.
