To any TSA people or government officials reading this, I would just like to say that I, as a voter, will NOT blame you if you ignore stupid reports like this. I will personally never report anyone for speaking another language or doing math on a plane, or even a bag unattended. I take my chances in life and I’d much rather risk a terrorist or a bomb than have every single interaction of mine with transportation delayed because some dumbfuck forgot a bag. So you don’t have to worry about me! Don’t do the “cover your ass” action because I won’t blame you for it! Thank you. ---

I’m basing my opinion on the fact that she complained he was writing weird shit and it turned out to be math. And nothing else. You claim he was up to no good anyway. So what do you think he was doing? What else did the woman say that wasn’t reported? Why did it not result in him being arrested and summarily executed in the jetway? Even if a story doesn’t include both sides, the fact he was allowed to fly says he was doing nothing threatening. ---

You know, Doorhinge, it’s not OK to shout FIRE in a crowded movie theatre just because you smell hot buttered popcorn. You don’t appear to have any sense of perspective, for you have refused to recognize the importance of acting on reasonable suspicion, and instead you believe that morons should raise the terrorism flag on no reasonable suspicion what-so-ever. It’s your own lack of ability to reason combined with your insistence that people should act entirely without reason that gets you into messes such as this thread. ---

Somebody **did** hear both sides of the story, with more interest in the story than any reporter, and certainly more interest than you or I merely arm-chairing it. The authorities with the power to keep a passenger off a plane, who’d catch blame if they let someone back on who then committed a terrorist act, investigated and chose to let Menzio back on a plane. They found no “there” there. I presume they did their jobs correctly in the absence of something specific to the contrary (not JAQing off), especially where the proof of the pudding is in the eating: Menzio wasn’t arrested for having explosives or the like, the flight by which Menzio completed his trip didn’t blow up, _etcetera_. :smack: ---

Why do you believe this woman is a moron? Based on what’s been reported, we don’t know what the woman heard or saw because her version hasn’t been reported.
