What did the LSM tell you he was up to? Isn’t that where this story is coming from? Ask the source to fully report the story. Unless you’ve already jumped to a conclusion based on the evidence not yet presented.
- That’s what was done. You disagree and think he was hiding something. Why?
- You’re jumping to the conclusion that he’s a terrorist because he wasn’t held or arrested.
Why are you taking sides on what you think was withheld(and ignoring what the woman didn’t say) and still insisting he was doing something wrong?
But you sound like you’ve got an agenda (or an ability to concoct fantasies) when you write stuff like this:
Huh? Was there ANY story that indicated “other suspious behavior”? Or is that just in your mind?
To any TSA people or government officials reading this, I would just like to say that I, as a voter, will NOT blame you if you ignore stupid reports like this. I will personally never report anyone for speaking another language or doing math on a plane, or even a bag unattended. I take my chances in life and I’d much rather risk a terrorist or a bomb than have every single interaction of mine with transportation delayed because some dumbfuck forgot a bag. So you don’t have to worry about me! Don’t do the “cover your ass” action because I won’t blame you for it! Thank you.
An unattended bag is a legitimate call-in. Who would leave a bag in an airport for even a moment and expect it to be there when they got back?
Ah, Mr. Yog! Come right this way. We have a separate “Non-Idiot” flight today.
Security will be a breeze, because every passenger and agent will be intelligent. Boarding will only take a few seconds, as no one will be taking up the flight attendants’ time with silly requests. Everyone has looked at their ticket and gotten in the right seat, and no one’s trying to fit a double-wide baby stroller in the overhead.
So we’ll be getting to your destination an hour before the Idiot plane. I hope that doesn’t interfere with your schedule.
Don’t you need math to figure out your schedule and traveling/arrival time at the airport?
That you can do in your head. Just be sure **doorhinge **isn’t around. He can read minds.
Where is “the other side of the story”? What did the other passenger see or hear? Or don’t you expect the LSM to report all sides of a story?
Richard Nixon said he was not a crook. Based on that statement alone, Nixon was not a crook. Based on what others said, Nixon was a crook. But who needs to hear all sides of a story when you’ve heard what you want to hear?
I can read media stories and have noticed that some stories don’t include all sides of an issue. You’re free to jump to your own conclusions based on one sides version of what happened. I’d like to hear both/all sides.
That’s right! Someone might want to get the moron’s side of the story.
But you’re taking sides based on what you didn’t hear the woman say. I’m basing my opinion on the fact that she complained he was writing weird shit and it turned out to be math. And nothing else.
You claim he was up to no good anyway. So what do you think he was doing?
What else did the woman say that wasn’t reported? Why did it not result in him being arrested and summarily executed in the jetway?
Even if a story doesn’t include both sides, the fact he was allowed to fly says he was doing nothing threatening.
You know, Doorhinge, it’s not OK to shout FIRE in a crowded movie theatre just because you smell hot buttered popcorn. You don’t appear to have any sense of perspective, for you have refused to recognize the importance of acting on reasonable suspicion, and instead you believe that morons should raise the terrorism flag on no reasonable suspicion what-so-ever. It’s your own lack of ability to reason combined with your insistence that people should act entirely without reason that gets you into messes such as this thread.
I don’t know if he is hiding something or had done something wrong. Yet. Why is that? Because the media dropped the ball and didn’t report the whole story.
BTW, I didn’t say he was a terrorist but you have no way of knowing that. ![]()
I’m suggesting that the media did a piss poor job of reporting this story. You’re jumping to the conclusion that I’m taking either passengers side.
So what if the media dropped the ball? The security apparatus cleared him.
You’ve been implying all along that he was up to something. So tell us what it is.
To be fair to Doorhinge, it is possible that the TSA were in cahoots with the terrorist and let him stay on the plane while the moron was conveniently diverted to another flight.
Of course full investigation would take a while, and all planes in US airspace would have to be grounded until the outcome of the investigation and the various levels of internal and judicial review were completed. Fifteen years or so?
He’s just JAQing off.
Who’s relying on the media, “lamestream” or otherwise? Somebody did hear both sides of the story, with more interest in the story than any reporter, and certainly more interest than you or I merely arm-chairing it. The authorities with the power to keep a passenger off a plane, who’d catch blame if they let someone back on who then committed a terrorist act, investigated and chose to let Menzio back on a plane. They found no “there” there.
I presume they did their jobs correctly in the absence of something specific to the contrary (not JAQing off), especially where the proof of the pudding is in the eating: Menzio wasn’t arrested for having explosives or the like, the flight by which Menzio completed his trip didn’t blow up, etcetera. :smack:
Hahahaha. Why do you believe this woman is a moron?
Based on what’s been reported, we don’t know what the woman heard or saw because her version hasn’t been reported. You claim she had no reasonable suspicion what-so-ever. Is your assumption based on your claim that she must be a moron for reporting suspicious behavior?
