Nothing to report here in central Michigan yet. I have one or two trees in the front yard that have a few branches that turn early sometimes, but they’re still green-n-healthy, apparently.
Usually, when a tree turns color early, it’s a sign of some sort of stress - drought, disease, damage, insect infestation, etc. Is this one or two particular trees, or several in one spot, or is it more widespread?
I for one could use some cooler weather, though. This year hasn’t been bad, as far as summers go. But I never was a fan of hot-n-humid. Give me 70 degree days and 50 degree nights, please.
And I can’t wait for snow!
