I wish Kevin Bacon all sorts of success and fulfillment but I think I’ll be giving the rest of the season a pass. I don’t mind my TV being unrealistic, though the "I’ll steal a car and go alone unarmed did bug me. And now that **BrokenBriton** has pointed out the obvious I wouldn’t be watching to find out what happens, just to see how long it takes. The second episode lost my attention in a few spots enough that I had to rewind. I never take that as a good sign. I think I need to move my taste in entertainment in less gruesome directions, anyway. ---

I thought the third episode was pretty good. I’m glad they’re not going down the “mind control through the internet” path hinted by the pilot, but rather building up some more plausible connections. I mean it’s not high art, but I’m finding it entertaining. Ryan is having a really bad week. ---

I liked the 3rd ep much more than the first two. Not too surprised that the black detective got killed off; he hadn’t been given much to do. Liked that the wife was involved. I found the “we’re straight”, “we’re pretending to be gay”, “no, we’re actually straight”, “actually, our secret is that we really are gay” really amusing. I kind of hope they keep flip-flopping. Emmy or whatever her name is is supremely fucked in the head. ---

Yeah, I think I may be done with this show. The 3rd episode was just _bad_. Every “twist” is obvious from the moment it is introduced. I knew the wife was involved and would kill someone before the end of the episode the moment she sat down in the interview chair. ---

As a reasonably discerning mature adult it’s almost demeaning to spend valuable entertainment time on this patent nonsense. Seriously, get used to subtitles, watch Borgen or something. ---

I love Kevin Bacon saying in ep 2 (I think - we watch them On Demand through cable): [spoiler]“Your ex-wife (can’t remember her name) almost died! I was just in time! If I hadn’t gotten there in time…!” No, numbnuts, IdiotCop was waiting for you. You could’ve taken all night to figure it out and get to her room in the house. Anyone who got there before you, he just woulda shot until you showed up. IdiotCop even told you as much. She really wasn’t in much danger until you showed up, really.[/spoiler] It’s an OK show, but definitely flawed. We’ll probably keep watching, if for no other reason than my SIL’s a fan. (She’s currently living with us for a bit.) $10 says that either DistractinglyYoungFBIAgentAdmirer is in the cult, or new ImACultExpertFBIWoman is. Which is also pretty annoyingly telegraphed. And couldn’t they kill off someone _other_ than the black guy? I mean, really. ---
