Oh, come now, **foolishmortal**! Ford’s greatest accomplishments while he was president included pardoning Richard Nixon for screwing up our country and organizing a family intervention to get Betty into treatment. And lest we forget his greatest contribution before his presidency… he served on the Warren Commission to create the totally factual and completely accurate report on the assassination of JFK. What a guy! :rolleyes:

Ford should be remembered a bit more fondly than that. He stewarded the country throughout a very tough time and began to move the country to normalcy.
Taft is very important. In one term he busted more trusts than Teddy did in 2, of course that made TR made because Taft busted trusts that TR made deals with.

I just remember that Buchanan was probably the nation’s only gay president, but nothing can be proved. (I’m ever hopeful, however.)

It is a VERY funny read, and tells you a lot about an even more forgettable breed of men - _Vice_ Presidents. (There is also a lot of relevant information about the presidents they served as well.)
