# The Foundation Trilogy, directed by Roland Emmerich

If you think explosions and action are good, maybe. But then, why bother to make **Foundation**?

Different from the original is OK, but when you rape and eviscerate the original and prop up its rotting corpse, there’s really no reason to bother making the movie from the book in the first place.

I haven’t read them, and heard they were terrible. The original though, damn, that’s one great read.

I did, and they were. Advice to all - stay away from anything by Gentry Lee.

Many years ago I had a Rama game for my C64, but I never got very far on it.
