And Fox is reviving Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing. I guess they’re trying to get all the Fox news watchers over to Fox proper ---

Fox got the contract for Thursday night football for the next 5 years. Live sports programming is much more profitable than a 30 minute sitcom. That’s why they went on a cancelling binge. ---

Oh, man. Same ol’ same ol’. I work in post production and get to see a lot of TV and film, but I’ve never seen one episode of Games of Thrones, Breaking Bad or Brooklyn 99. Can someone suggest a B99 episode? (Though I can’t stand Adam Sandler, I’ll try.) 😃 ---

I’d love to see _Lucifer_ come back. I think it’s a great show. But I also can’t help but think that whenever the fans of a show freak out hard enough to bring that show back to life, it automatically becomes more difficult for any other show in that round of cancellations to duplicate the feat, you know? And with _Brooklyn Nine-Nine_ snagging the first golden ticket, _Lucifer_ fans will have to work that much harder. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to track down some goat’s blood, a pentagram made from the bones of a criminal and a suitable sacrificial altar. That IS what was decided upon for the campaign to save _Lucifer_ from oblivion, right? ---

I am of two minds about them. I think they should die like dos for cancelling the great shows. But, they were probably the only network that would give those shows a chance in the first place. ---
