I’m sorry if I inadvertantly offended you but there’s no need for you to quasi-Godwin this thread. I was taking into account the fact [Corsica wasn’t incorporated into France until 1770](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corsica) (after a short time as an republic) and has its own language and culture. I wasn’t trying to “ethnically cleanse” French history of people who “weren’t French enough” like the Bretons and the Basque. ---
