I have to drive my own car, as my company failed to provide me one via favour and grace. (Correct me if I’m wrong here, isn’t “grace and favour” the British equivalent of like “fringe benefits”? As in, a bigshot employee is allowed the use of a company car because “grace and favour”?) ---
